Knar Jewellery’s Custom Design Studio is staffed by a talented team of experts. Our gemologists, metalsmiths and jewellery designers are highly-trained in all facets of jewellery creation and are well-versed in today’s latest jewellery design trends.

The Custom Jewellery Process

The process begins with our Design Consultant working with you to define the type of piece you are looking to have created, and the type of person the piece is for (even if its for you!).

Our design consultant will then work to create a rough drawing or two of the possible looks for the piece. The drawing is refined through further discussion with you.

From the approved drawing, a wax mould of the piece is created followed by a lead mock-up. After approval by you of the mock-up, the real work begins with a artisans casting and/or crafting the piece in the desired metal, refining it, polishing it, and setting any gemstones.
